A Long History

The Martin guitar company was founded by the first Christian Frederick Martin in 1833 in America, moving offices to Nazareth, Pennsylvania six years later. Still in operation in Nazareth today, Martin is the longest continually owned and operated family businesses in America, which they proudly point out makes them the only guitar maker with that kind of record.
