Cello Instrument
A full sized cello is known as a four-fourths cello, but there are
smaller cellos available that are useful for musicians of smaller
stature or children. These smaller cellos are identical to a full
sized cello is every way except size. The smaller cellos are scaled
down proportionately to accommodate smaller musicians resulting in
greater ease of reaching lower positions. The seven-eights and three-quarters
are common sizes of cellos.
